Montgomery, MD: "Re: vaginal discharge" Before I began having my period I began having heavy vaginal discharge. THis discharge has continued unchanged with no other symptoms. I have been treated with vaginal yeast infection medication but the symptoms do not disappear. THe vaginal discharge has a slight soupy scent and is pretty heavy. Everytime I urinate I generally get a clump of vaginal discharge also. The discharge causes a slight bad odor due to it's spread around the outside vaginal area. The last gynecologist I visited said that this was not a yeast infection.
