[Birth Control]

I have been on the birth control pill since the birth of my son six years ago until about 6 months ago. In the past year and a half I have had many diagnoses of urinary tract infections and bacterial vaginosis. In the past 10 weeks I have been experiencing chronic burning just inside my vagina. I have been to my doctor and was prescibed flagyl, this did not help. A vagional smear was done, there was no signs of yeast or bacterial infection. My urine was checked but there were no signs of an obvious urinary tract infection. I was given a prescription for a 3-day treatment of Cipro 100 mg. By the end of the med I was feeling a little better but only one day as after intercourse the burning returned the next day. I had a pap smear done and I am waiting for results. Still, I have been going through this a long time and I am very worried. There was an infidelity on my husband's part and tests are supposed to be done re: STD's. I am concerned I should see another doctor. My husband and I have worked through things and want to have another child and now I continue to not know what is wrong. If there is any advice you can give me, please contact me via e-mail; ryanroad@localnet.com. Thank you for your time in reading my letter.
