Re: Can I pop it? Vulvar/labia varicose veinsFrom: Donna (anonymous@obgyn.net)Fri, 8 Feb 2002 17:30:13 -0500
Try taking Venastat (its OTC). It's herbal but very effective for varicosities. I had/have internal varicose veins that were causing excruciating pelvic pain. Prior to surgery my Osteopathic DR, who's in to the herbs, asked me to try it. Amazingly it helped. Did the pain totally go away, no but certainly was more tolerable. Worth a try. good luck. -----Original Message----- From: anonymous@obgyn.net [mailto:anonymous@obgyn.net Behalf Of no one in particular Sent: Friday, February 08, 2002 5:00 PM To: Multiple recipients of list WOMENS-HEALTH Subject: Re: Can I pop it? Vulvar/labia varicose veins Have you considered contacting someone who specializes in treating varicose veins of the legs? There are various treatments for varicose veins in the legs, perhaps they can apply them to the one you have in the vulvar area (it certainly can't hurt to at least ask). Here's a random website I found that you can read general info. on ( http://www.doctorgupta.com/vein-index.htm ) you would have to find a doctor suitable for you and in your area. The veins can swell and throb so it's worth looking into a cure! Good luck ! =)
