A varicose vein is not a poppable bubble. It's like a hose that has been stretched out due to pressure and cannot shrink back. If you poke it to drain it, you will just cause blood loss. It won't shrink the vein back. Sorry. Check here for more info: http://my.webmd.com/content/article/3608.1123 At the end of the article it says you have to call your doctor if you cut a varicose vein.
