Hello! For the past 4 days, I've been experiencing spotting. It has ranged from brown to bright red. It is too early (by far) in my cycle for it to be my period. It is not ovulatory, as I chart my temps (no ovulation yet) and take ovulation tests. It is not from sex. I am not pregnant. I've never experienced it before. I had my annual pap smear last month, and everything was normal (since then i've had my regular period). The only abnormal thing is I am recovering from the flu with fever, and my ovulation is late. I have hypothyroidism. I've been on meds since May '01 and Jan. 10th my meds were increased. I have been tested for PCOS and had some symptoms, but my doc wanted to wait to diagnose because it wasn't enough, symptom wise. Other than that, I am healthy..average height, weight, etc. Any ideas about why I am spotting? Thank you for your time!
