[Birth Control] Question about forms of BC other than the Pill

I'm seriously considering going off BCP's because I do not like the effect they have on my body (I've tried multiple types/brands). I want another form of birth control that is just as effective or at least close to it. I'm thinking my best options are condoms with spermacide foam or gel or a diagphram with spermacide foam or gel. How effective are they if they are used correctly all the time in comparison to the pill? Is one type of spermacide more effective than another? What else should I know? Thanks! - Amanda
