I have been taking Yasmin 28 for three months and after break-through bleeding the entire time, my GYN has switched me to OVCON 35 0.4/35. I have 4 more days left of the placebo pill (Yasmin 28 package), before starting the new prescription (Ovcon) and my question is this, will my bleeding cease or slow down if I jump ahead and start the new prescription? I have been bleeding now for almost 2 weeks and I already have a low hemoglobin (which I take iron for) but would really like to have a spot-free weekend.
