Mine was found by a vaginal sono after seeing my gyn for spotting and rectal bleeding. He sent me to have a vag. sono. I am 42 and beings I had never had prior ovarian prob. he did a lap to make sure it indeed was an endometrioma and not something else. He did tell me that if it couldn't be removed or was something else that he would have to remove my ovary. Thank goodness I kept my ovary, but he found stage 4 endometriosis. I have back pain, cramps, bloating, etc. Funny though I have a high pain tolerance, I guess. Best of luck and write me. kc >Hello >I wonder if you could put my mind at rest while I am waiting to see a gynaecologist. I went for an ultrasound scan but ended up having a transvaginal ultrasound.
