Hi carol,

Yes, you can get pregnant and not have measureable levels of hCG, but this is pretty rare.

If you think you are pregnant, go to your doctor and they can test your blood and urine; their tests are usually more accurate than the store bought ones, especially the blood.

In the future, why not use birth control to prevent unwanted pregnancies? It's so simple and so effective.

Also, if you ever think that you miscarry again, please go to your doctor. They can run tests to see if you did or did not. Also, depending on how far along you are/were, a D&C is necessary.

I would go to your doc right away.

If you don't have a doctor, Planned Parenthood can help you out. They're cheaper, too. (sliding scale=you pay what you can) Their number is 1 800 230 PLAN

Take care, Maggie
