heart rate

I know that this forum is mostly used for gynecological questions, but I have an important question related to health in general. I know that tv is a horrible place to get information about health, but that's what I accidently did. On the tv show "The Chair," they recently said that one woman's heart rate went up to "a whopping 202." This concerns me greatly, because my resting heart rate is about 95, and when I work out a lot (even when i'm in shape), my rate has gone up to about 230 beats per minute. I would just like to know if this is okay. I'm 16, and there is no history of heart problems in me or my family. Please, just let me know if this is ok, as softball season is starting tomorrow. (By the way, I was cleared for softball by my doctor, this exam included my pulse, but when resting.) Any information would really help. Thank you so much.
