i have had breakthrough bleeding for the past 5 months. i have been on the pill for over a year but missed a month 6 months ago, started back up 5 months ago and have gotten what i call 2 periods per month. sometimes they last as long as 2 weeks. could this be caused by starting them at the wron time?
