Endometrioma's are blood filled cysts.
As one of the Drs. said here (Dr. Lynn, I think), there is no way to
know for certain what type of cyst it is. They can suspect what it is,
but not know until it is visualized. Also, the Ultrasound Tech should
not be telling you anything. The Radiologist is the one paid to
interpret, and has far more schooling to make calls on what is seen.
I've had techs tell me things that were so far off base, it wasn't
funny! It was rather scary at times.
Many women with Endo go on to have very healthy pregnancies and
children. Endo is not always an infertility problem. Some women with
the most severe cases acheive pregnancy very easily.

The lady said she had found an endometrioma on my left ovary but i cannot remember what size she said. I am 33 years of age and i have no children yet but I really do want them. I am now panicking in between time wondering whether this makes me infertile because I have read it comes from endometriosis.
