[Birth Control] Are my side effects normal?From: anonymous@obgyn.netTue, 29 Jan 2002 14:04:36 -0600 (CST)
I was previously taking Ortho Tri-Cyclen. I stopped taking it for 3 months, because I wasn't sexually active. Now, I'm planning to become active again and I started taking Ortho Novum, but I didn't consult a physician before my change. What are the differences between the two? The day after I took the first white pill, I felt some headaches, dizziness and nausea. i looked at the instructions and I also realized that I took the pill on the wrong day. I was supposed to start the Sunday after I started my period, and I misinterpreted that to the Suday after my period was finished. I started my period on a Saturday so i missed the day I was supposed to take the pill and took it the following Sunday. Were my side effects caused by a change from Tri-Cyclen to Novum? Were they caused by taking my pill a week late? Or are my side effects normal? I was also wondering if I should continue taking Ortho Novum. Please let me know. Thanks!
