I have just had my routine 3 yearly cervical smear test and the nurse doing it said she could see some cervial errosion, possibly caused either by being on the contraceptive pill for a long time (although I haven't taken it for several years now), or from "deep penetrative sex!!" (bless 'im but my husband doesn't quite fit into that catergory!). Should I be concerned by this and what does it actually mean in laymans terms? (I have to wait 3 weeks for my results).
