Unfortunately, yes. In most women it's no big deal but for someone with endo, it really stinks. In women able to take the pill, we use that to straighten things out.

Presuming it's absorbed (and there is question in the literature as to whether this even occurs) progesterone should suppress endo as it does the endometrial lining causing a thinning of the endometrium. Of course, GnRHa such as Lupron are superior at doing this.
