Re: [Birth Control] Abnormal bleeding

Thank you Dr. Marchbein for responding to my question posted Saturday. I am hoping that the reproductive endocrinologist can help me. I have one more related question. Once the spotting begins, if I have intercourse on those days, there is bleeding. Not just a little -- a mess. When I'm not spotting for those days at the beginning of the month, I can have intercourse and there is not a trace. Would that lead you to believe that it is the cervix producing that much blood? Would the contact during intercourse cause a significant amount? I am led to believe that hormonal changes are causing the cervix to become irritated and sensitive. I had but a trace today -- and attempted intercourse to end up with another disgusting disheartening episode. Please tell me more...
