Bladder spasmsFrom: anonymous@obgyn.netSun, 27 Jan 2002 18:19:13 -0600 (CST)
I have severe pelvic congestion and/or adenomyosis on the anterior of my uterus. It causes me constant pain. I am wondering if uterine problems like that can affect bladder function because the area that is enlarged and very painful lays right up against my bladder. My bladder works fine most of the time except in the evening when I lay down to go to bed. Then I feel like I have to go every few minutes and not much comes out. In the evening my pain is usually worse too. This also happens if I wake up in the middle of the night (I have a baby).... when I get back in bed I start feeling like I have to go even after I just went. So, can pelvic congestion and adenomyosis causes bladder spasms like I described or is it just age (I am 40 with 4 kids).
