I hope everything works out for you. As far as the discomfort you might feel from the exam, you can try taking some Motrin or Tylenol before going (about an hour before your appt time would be best). With you bleeding during the time of the exam, as embarrassed as you may feel about it, drs are use to seeing that sort of thing. Your fears: just try and relax. Remember to take long deep breaths before the exam, and during. This will help you stay calm. I hope this has helped some.
