I'd be interested to hear what your doctor said.

I can think of 2 possibilities. One is that you may have had a supracervical hysterectomy and some endometrial cells are still in the upper cervix so they can bleed monthly. If you had a total hysterectomy, there may be some endometriosis in the vagina where the cervix was. After that, I'm stumped.
