Re: Searching For An AnswerFrom: Kristy (anonymous@obgyn.net)Fri, 25 Jan 2002 21:38:33 -0800 (PST)
Amy, Endo can indeed grow rapidly for some women with endo. A friend of mine had her second laparoscopy 6 months after her first. Also ultrasound will not show endo. Endo inside the uterus is called adenomyosis and that is diagnosed when a woman has a hysterectomy. If your gyn hasn't found anything I would recommend getting a second opinion. I had to do that when I was trying to get a diagnosis. My endo recurs about every 2 years. Each woman is different when it comes to how her body handles endo. Some will only have surgery once and do fine and others will not. I hope that this helps. ===== Kristy :) http://www.geocities.com/sokokl/kristyspersonalpage.html Hoping to be a nurse soon but for now just a Medical Secretary who does a lot of learning from reading on the Net, books, my dr(s), as well as sharing my own personal experiences. Great stuff seeking new owners in Yahoo! Auctions!
