Searching For An AnswerFrom: Amy (anonymous@obgyn.net)Fri, 25 Jan 2002 17:13:46 -0600 (CST)
Long hx, won't go into it. Had some strong pains in the lower right quadrant of abdomen. Have had 3 babies, been pregnant 5 times. Tubal ligation Feb 98. Oopherectomy Dec 2001 (right side). Some tube was removed. Path. was normal. Still had pains after surgery. GYN sent me to a GI doc. He did Colonoscopy, all normal. Said this might be IBS, prescribed Levbid. Still haveing pains on right side. At first they werent regular (started early January). Talked to GI doc, he wants me to go back to the GYN. I do not know what can be causing this pain. I am getting tired of being poked and prodded and haveing surgery. Does anyone, or an MD know what in the world could this be? The location of the pain is where the ovary would be, tho it is gone. Appendix is also gone. I dont think the uterus lies this low. Hmmmmmmm... can someone help me? I am getting very frustrated. I put a call into my GYN, but no call back from her yet. ARGH!
