Re: Prolapse and surgery

Just wanted to let you know that I had pretty sever prolapse following
the birth of my 3rd child 5 years ago. It was definately coming
out...and my doctor recommended a hysterectomy. But within a year of
the delivery and LOTS of kiegals, etc., the prolapse is barely
noticeable. And I can tell because we're currently ttc and I've tried
to check my cervix a couple of times and can't even reach it! Just like
the good old days! So I do think there is some degree of recovery
following birth, so I agree with Dr. Braun's comment about waiting a
while to see what happens
