Given this, the first consideration would be a primary ovarian process, possibly involving endo. Second, there is certainly a risk of further endo activity with the ovaries in place-or even with them removed. Finally, given your diagnosis of diverticulosis and you symptoms, I would seek evaluation soon because it is certainly possible to rupture a diverticulum, which can become a surgical emergency...
