I got an IUD inserted 6 months ago. Since then, I have had pretty much non-stop spottting, abdominal and lower back pain. I wonder if this is normal or if the symptoms have been going on for too long and it could be PID. I had an abnormal pap a year ago(HPV infection), and had a laser surgery for that. My gyn said I could have the IUD inserted anyway, since I have been having proper followup on the HPV.
