Actually, the site and patient information sheet recommend having your
potassium level checked only if you currently take medications on a
regular basis that also raise potassium levels (i.e. NSAIDS, ACE
inhibitors, etc.)
I have to comment to all those checking out Yasmin...I LOVE it so far! I
have been taking it for about a month and a half and have actually lost
some weight and haven't had any breakouts. The first couple of weeks I
was on it on the first pack I spotted a tiny bit, but no spotting this
month. Also, the first week I was on it I had some nausea...but, none
since.
