I have no health problems, but is the >raised potassium level something I should be concerned about? Two points, Zoe, Just because something is listed as a side effect, doesn't mean it will happen to everyone. If it happened to one person out of say 100,000 people trying the medication (just pulling a number out of the air), they have to list it as a side effect. I was just as the Yasmin website (http://www.yasmin.com) for another poster today, and it does say it can elevate the potassium level in your blood, so the company recommends after the first month of treatment with Yasmin, a blood test be done to check the potassium level. I hope this is of some help to you.
