I recovered nicely, and feel pretty good. Having one ovary removed will not throw you into menopause, unless your remaining ovary isn't functioning. Rest assured that knowing the procedure is simple to do. My GYN did it with laprascopy, I was out of the hospital a few hours later and home resting with drugs LOL. The most thing that hurts is some cramping from the procedure (just things healing), and of course maybe some muscle soreness. Best of luck to you. Hope this has helped.
