i was having abnormal pap smears so my dr did a colposcopy test which revealed i have genital warts (hpv) on my cervix. I am still in shock because i thought i was carefull, but appearantly not carefull enough. my questions are as followed: 1.how would i have known the partner i was with had warts, if there was no visable infection seen? 2.will i have this for the rest of my life? 3.how will i know if i am infected or infected for good? 4.what if my husband and i want to have a baby? 5.non of my partners have contacted me regarding any problems? could they have this? what if non of them do then how would i have gotten this? 6. my husband has no signs of this, how is this possible? help me im soo stressed out, and numb i dont know what to do i feel soo guilty and ashamed i just want to cry and hide under a rock somewhere. i plan to have this cut off my cervix, is this the best solution to rid of this? sorry this is so long, any advice you can offer would be great,thanks so much
