The results of a pelvic ultrasound states that I have an muscular uterine fibroid size 3.5 x 3.0 x 4.2 (on the outside) Uterus size is 3.5x 4.9 x 6.2. Also apparent was an hypoechoic mass showing an endometrial stripe of 17mm in the anterior right of uterus. Ovaries were not visual. (I had a tubaligation after my 2nd child 13 years ago but that's it!) My lower right side of my abdomen & back have been in pain, I'm bloated like a 4 mos pregnancy, recently I've been getting jabbing/pinching pains in my lower left area. What's a "normal" lining thickness? Family members (2 sisters, mother, cousins) had hysterectomies because of 'abnormal'lining thickness. What is the recommendation for treatment?
