During an ultrasound done to determine miscarriage, it was discovered that I had a dermoid. One week after the D&C, I had pain from lower back to knees & fever of 103.5. Following that I started having digestive track problems. Two weeks later I had a unilateral oopherectomy to remove the mature teratoma. for 3 weeks, I was in excruciating pain after every time I ate and with every bowel movement. Then i was put on antibiotics & the pain went away & my appetite returned. The problem is that I have a bowel movement within 30 minutes of eating. Bowel appearance has changed to be thinner & longer. I had an internal vagina exam as follow up to surgery. The exam made the inside of my rectum hurt.
