AJ,

I had a lot of breakthrough bleeding (bleeding at times other than your period) and b/c of the amount of estrogen in Mircette that's why I bled so much. I couldn't handle that amount b/c it was too low for me. Breakthrough bleeding acts a lot like a period for me and that includes cramping. I didn't have periods while on the Mircette b/c I have endometriosis. Maybe your body can't handle the amount of estrogen in the Mircette. It's just a guess.
