It does sound like fibrocystic changes, which are responsive to hormone and fluctuations. Of course you can't rule out cancer, especially in the typical dense breast of a 20 year old. If the ultrasound and mammograms are negative, more than likely fibrocystic changes. You can search our archives for behavior modification techniques which tend to help cystic changes of the breast.
