Previous message: Robin: "Re: Need help" Hello, I have been taking Mircette for the past five months, and initially experienced some side effects within the first few months, such as breakthrough bleeding and cramping. I had thought that I would not be having extreme side effects any longer. This past month, however, I have had heavy yellow-brown discharge (it comes in "gushes"), vaginal itching, and reddish-brown spotting with lots of cramping. My period was barely two weeks ago, and extremely light. I am trying to understand what is going on in my body, and am not sure what to think (fibroids? side effects from the Mircette? bacterial infection? pregnancy?)....
