Blood ResultsFrom: Natalie (anonymous@obgyn.net)Fri, 11 Jan 2002 13:56:44 -0600 (CST)
Hi Everyone. I posted earlier this week and thanks to Dr. Wang for responding. I unfortunately have another question though. My lab results are as follows: Hemoglobin: 10.3 Hematocrit: 32.6 MCV: 63.7 MCH: 20.7 My doctor has chosen to do a colonoscopy and endoscopy because he is worried that I might have internal bleeding / a blockage somewhere ( I am very constipated a lot of the time)..... I have always been anemic and I feel like that might be the reason for the lab results. Could it be? Should I see a "blood-doctor" before going through all of these scopes? I really just want to make sure that they are necessary. Thanks for any reply as I am very appreciative of every doctor and person that takes time to reply to those of us that have questions. It really makes it easier. Have a good weekend everyone! Natalie M.
