The Lupron is usually used for about 3-6 months to help decrease the size of fibroids or to stop fibroid induced bleeding PRIOR to Hysterectomy. Adding an OCP overcomes the effect of the Lupron. OCP's contain high levels of estrogen and that is what one is trying to avoid with the Lupron.

That is pretty quick for fibroids.

It could be endometriosis and not fibroids.
