Hiya! I'm 23 years old and I have endometriosis along with a long list of conditions. Today I had a pelvic by a new dr and he found a mass. At first he thought that I was pregnant, but he did a pelvic us. He found a fibroid on my uterus that was 3 inches. He wants to put me on Lupron for 6 months along with continuous Lo-Ovral for endometriosis and said that this would take care of the fibroid. I've read that fibroids have been connected to high estrogen production, which confuses me because I was on depo-provera a shot a month for 10 months followed by lupron for 3 months. I haven't been on any therapy for 3 months, but I haven't had a period since Aug '00. My questions are: 1. Is the treatment that my dr suggested normal for fibroids of this size or should I seek a second opinion? 2. My last us was only a few months ago, is it normal for fibroids to grow that fast? 3. Could this be related to endometriosis? Thanks for any information you can provide. Love and Prayers, Amanda
