If you not pregnant, then the likely explanation for your irregular and missed period, including this episode is a irregular ovulation or complete lack of ovulation. This can occur for a variety of reasons, which your physician can discuss. It can also be remedied simply by cycling on the birth control pill, which might not be such a bad idea if you and your boyfriend are not planning a family anytime soon... Lynn
