One of the welcome side effects of OCP's is a light period or no period at all. If you are taking your pills as you should (not missing any and taking them around the same time every day), the chance of pregnancy is very very low....I think it is about less than 1% of women who take the pill as presribed will become pregnant.

If you started getting the headaches on the pill, talk to your MD. S/he needs to know this.

The pill can sometimes cause nausea....try eating some crackers when you take your pill and see if that helps.
