[Birth Control] (no subject)From: anonymous@obgyn.netWed, 9 Jan 2002 21:46:56 EST
About 4 months ago, I started on a birth control pill called Loestrin. After about 2 months of taking the pill, I started spotting, having very light (brown) blood for about 3 days in the middle of the month. My periods lately have become almost nothing. I still have them at the scheduled time, but are extremely light. I used to go through 2 super-plus tampons in 6 hours, but now am using only pantiliners. Along with this I have extremely bad headaches and occasional nausea, not associated with the headaches. I am sexually active and am concerned about being pregnant. They say that when you are pregnant you miss your period completely or have it real light for a month. What are the chances of me being pregnant, or is this normal for someone who just started taking birth control? Please better inform me of this.
