Diflucan pill for yeast on vulvar?From: Kristina (anonymous@obgyn.net)Wed, 9 Jan 2002 11:50:57 -0600 (CST)
Hi! Hope everyone is doing well today! Saturday night was my last treatment of Monistat (I used the 3 day one) it is now Wednesday and I still have itching on my vulvar, is it possible that there is still some yeast there? maybe I just need a stronger dosage? I know it is yeast because my Gyn took a sample of my discharge which came back positive for yeast. I tried calling his today but the office was closed. would taking a diflucan pill take away yeast on the vulvar? or do I need a cream for that? I would rather a pill, it is not as rough on the skin. Thank you so much for your time! Kristina
