until you have at least one normal period after stopping the pill . The reason for this is mainly so you are aware you have missed a period and will think to do a pregnancy test

you shoul dtake 400 - 8-- micrograms fo folic acid a day. This does help you get pregnant, but it does lower the chances of the baby having a neural tube defect like spina bifida
