[Birth Control] Infertility and Overweight?

I am overweight, and trying to lose weight. One reason is for my health and to avoid diabetes, another reason is because of my upcoming wedding. The other and probably main reason I am losing weight is to be at a healthy weight in order to have a baby in a few years.

I am worried that me being overweight has hurt my chances of having babies or becoming pregnant. What circumstances should I be aware of? Have I really hurt my chances severely? Has this hurt my ovaries (being overweight)? I am on the pill right now for birth control and will continue to be until my future husband and I are ready to start trying. This is my worst fear, not to have children. Please help me with any info that you can give me. Thank you.
