I would like some advice regarding my use of micronor. Approximately seven months ago I was diagnosed with endometriosis, as a result my gynecologist put me on micronor, wherein I took 1 pill using a 28 day cycle. However, I still experienced painful periods , therefore he increased the dosage to 2 pills per day. In addition to micronor I also am perscribed Talwin to control the pain from a chronic back condition I received after back surgery. Approximately a month ago I started retaining a considerable amount of water, especially in my breasts. I would equate it to PMS Symptoms times three. Since I had not had my period as a result of taking the doulbel dosage of micronor for about 4 months I thought that was what it was. I tried getting in contact with my doctor at that time but he was on vacation, therefore I myself decreased the dosage of micronor back to one pill a day, wherein I got a light period for approximately 2 days. This appeared to relieve the symptoms, however, although I am currently only on one pill a day I am again retaining a considerable amount of water and my breasts are extremely tender. Could you advise as to what may be causing this and if I should stop taking the micronor for the time being in order to get my period. Right now I am taking it every day.
