I am on Aleese 28 bcp, have been for 1 1/2 years. They seem to be doing the job. Have had 3 kids, last one born in 98, with tubal ligation following the delivery. Persistent lower right quadrent pain for over a year. Had a diagnostic lap in 2000, with adhesion found and removed (on tube). Felt good for about 4 months after. The pain started to come back, I just delt with it. After almost a year of the pain, I went back to gyn, who performed unilateral oopherectomy on dec 4 2001. I thought the pain was from recovering, but now im not so sure.

I have had more than normal bowel movements lately, 2 - 3 times a day.. usually within an hour or so of eating. The movements dont seem to be abnormal (real losse or bloody). This pain is starting to really hurt. My gyn is still on vacation, think she returns tomorrow. I know this is not gyn related now. Back a while ago, in May 01, I went to see dr for stomach troubles, (very frequent movements.. like the ones I am having now, and pain). He prescribed "Dicyclomine" aka Bentyl 20 mg and told me to take 1 30 mins before meals 4 times a day and at bedtime. It seemed to have help. Well, I have gone back to taking them, but pain doesnt seem to be controlled.. tho the bm's arent as much now after eating. Any ideas on what this might be? IBS? I don't know the signs and symptoms of that or anything else. Am trying to rack my brain to find out what is causing this. Thanks.
