Hi. Quickly- i am a 24 year old smoker with a two year history of abnormal paps- 1 hgsil result out of 5 tests (all others showed inflamation, normal or 1 result showed mild dysplasia). Dr. performed colpo and biopsy and cryo altho results showed "mild abnormality but no difinative show of hpv"- figured aggressive was good since i had that one real bad result. At this time, i had been on birth control pills for 3 years and had no steady partner- took pills due to painful cycle and bad cramps and bleeding. Had cryo 7 months ago, now off pills (thought maybe they were contributing to bad paps and i smoke cigarettes). Now, have steady partner, but bleed during sex- experience cramping and light very dark bleeding- usually around ovulation or right before or after period, when i think im all finished with it, i have sex and i bleed. I have cramps too. Last pap was a month ago and showed inflamation but no lesions, hpv. Question is, could my cryo have caused the bleeding, is it normal to have intermittent bleeding post period or pre period and is this an indication taht i need to go on the pills again? Have been sexually active while on pill with condoms and this never happened before. Use lube, take care of body, no infections. What gives? Thank you in advance for your help.
