Longer, if your office uses the test that we use in my office. If you get a test of cure too soon, it will look like the antibiotic didn't work. What kind of test does your health care provider use?

More likely than 1 gram of Zithromax not working is reinfection by a partner who did not complete treatment or who was him/herself reinfected after completing treatment.

If you suspect you have PID, you should be examined now. Please do not wait until you get back to school. Call your local health department or Planned Parenthood (800 230 PLAN), or the emergency room, to be seen today.
