I use to suffer from pretty bad migraines, and took Imitrex. It worked until what seems I got immuned to it. Vicodin is a pretty strong drug, Darvocet is a better choice I think. Tylenol will not help with migraines, not that I have experienced. Have you thought about trying Motrin? I take 800 mgs every 8 hrs and seems to help quite a bit. I know they are no fun. I cant tell you why you are getting them so frequently, though its been my experience that they can occur when they want to. I hope the neurologist can maybe help you in some way. Good luck!
