I gave birth to my second child about 6 months ago. I am now on my second period since then and I am experiencing very heavy bleeding. For the first two days I have had to wear a tampon and pad and change them at least every two hours even through the night. I have always had problems with heavy bleeding but this seems excessive. I am also passing very large clots. Should I be concerned? I just started back on orthotricyclen this second period to see if it helps but so far there hasn't been any change. I could use some insight.
