SpottingFrom: Amy (anonymous@obgyn.net)Sat, 22 Dec 2001 17:23:50 -0600 (CST)
I sort of posted the same question type post a couple days ago or so, but this is still going on. History: 28, 5 pregnancies. Tubal ligation in 1998. Diagnostic lap in Nov 2000, with removal of adhesion on right fallopian tube. No complications. Unilateral Oopherectomy (right side), Dec 4, 2001. Am on Aleese 28 bcp, and have been for 1 1/2 years. Skipped placebo pills 2 days prior to surgery, per drs advice / suggestion, so that I would be more comfortable during recovery. Started spotting on Dec 13th. Started off very scanty, only when I went to the bathroom. Woke up this morning, the 22nd, and it was heavy, not heavy enough to soak a pad though. But was heavier than it had been. It is still continuing. Was suppose to start the placebo pills for next pack of bcp tomorrow, the 23rd, have decided since I haveb een at this for over a week already, I was going to go right to the next pack. Dr said this was fine (spoke to her on the 14th). She is however, on vacation for the holidays, and the way that the drs work here (military clinic), they dont cover one another. Do I need to be concerned about this? I felt a little lightheaded this morning, so took some Iron (otc). Am I going about this the right way, or is there something else I need to be doing? Im also wondering how long this spotting will go on for. Its starting to get annoying.
