Could be Alesse is not a good pill for you. If the spotting just started, give it a couple of months to see what happens. Even on the pill, you can have variations in your cycle in terms of bleeding, time, etc. I've had variations in my cycle when I was on the pill, even after being on it for years.

If your Dr. is saying it is okay, go with it. She knows you better than anyone on this forum (except yourself of course).
